I had no idea this was part of Leopard. Thanks to Michael Rose for pointing it out. I had seen the screen saver on a Mac somewhere in my travels but had no idea that it came standard with Leopard.

What it does is take whatever folder full of photos you point it and it builds a photomosiac of one image made of all the others. Obviously the more and diverse your collection of photos, the more amazing the mosiacs will be. I, myself, being on a rather confining 80GB MacBook Pro, try to keep my stored photos to a minimum. But I could rationalize this as yet another reason for me to take the time out to have the hard drive in this machine upgraded.

There is some word going around the Mosaic Display for Picture Screen Savers does not work unless you have iPhote '08 installed. Well, I'm here to tell you as someone who has yet to purchase iLife '08, the screen saver works just fine.
