Intego, makers of VirusBarrier for OS X, have released information about a trojan horse which disguises itself as an MP3 file and can erase personal files before emailing itself to friends.

Thus far, neither Apple or any other party has recognized this virus, but it is probably a good idea to refrain clicking on MP3 sent to you as email attachments. Users of VirusBarrier can escape this threat, but should update their software through the NetUpdate feature.
