.Mac, a favorite among podcasters for its unlimited bandwidth, has now been capped at 3GB per month by Apple. The file caching that iTunes seems to be giving some some podcasts on the iTunes Music Store will help make up for the limits of .Mac but the full ramifications of this cap for podcasting are still unclear. Accounts can be upgraded to 10GB data transfer per month for USD$49.95 per year.
