Apple has announced the
iPod Hi-Fi, "the stereo for the new century."
Apple is reinventing the home stereo with the new iPod Hi-Fi, the first iPod accessory that adds true high-fidelity sound quality to the iPod. iPod Hi-Fi's unrivaled acoustic performance and stunning design is at home in any room in the house.
The iPod Hi-Fi is powered by two custom-designed and handmade 80-mm wide-range cones and one 130-mm woofer to provide a frequency response of 53Hz to 16kHz. It features a Universal Dock, compatible with all Dock-connecting iPods, and an auxillary input for use with older iPods and other portable audio players. The iPod Hi-Fi is available starting at USD$349.
